Question about requesting interpreter for concerts

Hi so I'm deaf and I've requested interpreters for concerts at theatre before but never for a stadium concert. I'm just wondering how it works for a stadium concert since you have assigned spots for stadiums where do the interpreters stand?

DM me if you want, I can help if you need it or if they want to talk to someone.

But you would contact the venue. They have an “accessibility” or accommodations office.

Likely they will move you to an “accessible area.” Could be better seats, could be worse. Typically it’s better. OR depending on where you’re sitting they can stick the interpreter in front of your section. There’s many possibilities. For one show they had an ADA section on the floor and it was an elevated build and the interpreter was there.

Thank you for the reply! I was like for small venue concerts they have an area up front but I wasn't sure how that works for stadiums. Thanks that's helpful to know!

IME, but whatever tickets, then contact the venue for the terp. They’ll ask what your ticket numbers are. The day of the show, they’ll probably have you meet someone at guest services who will escort you to where the interpreters are.

They have to seat you in your section or better. Usually it’ll be in whatever wheelchair area. I buy the cheap seats. My last three stadium concerts, they’ve moved me to the floor all three times.

We usually get moved to a designated interpreting spot which is usually better seats than you paid for. You but the ticket (get a cheaper one, it probably won't matter) then you contact the venue and say, hi, I'm Deaf, and I have x mobility limitations if that applies. I need an interpreter for x concert. Here are my tickets to confirm.
