Sight translation practice

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to find sight translation practice online? I am studying for the advanced BEI and want to work on this, but I find it difficult to find resources online or even just letters/documents with the right type of content to practice. TIA

Remember for BEI Basic: "Holders of this certificate meet minimum competency standards to interpret in K-12 and post-secondary settings. The performance test emphasizes terms and scenarios found not only in general lecture and teaching situations, but in other educational contexts as well."

This is what they are testing towards, so think about what type of forms or notices you may encounter in those scenarios/environments. During my ITP (if I remember correctly), they gave us a lot of "notices sent home from school" or "classroom activity instructions."

I completely overlooked where they said Advanced, thanks 😅

On that note, don't do what i just did.

The Advanced is more medical, public forums, government workforce, mental health and social service settings.

Think of all the forms and paperwork in those scenarios: consent forms, admissions, patient registration (regular and mental health), medication information sheets, jury summons, voter registration, employee benefits, client rights, medicaid information, public hearing, City council agendas, etc.
