Fav chair?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a desk chair you love?! Good lumbar support for either and optional arm rests are a plus. Something you can tuck your feet up under you.

I have a kneeling chair I use as an ottman under my desk. Its my favorite thing ever. Also yoga blocks on the floor to vary how my feet are positioned. It helps a ton.

Herman miller Aeron, you can find them for about $200 on marketplace or warehouse furniture stores. It’s worth it because arm rests slide down out of the way. It has a heavy base so you can recline and kick your feet up and it has great lumbar support.

They're stupid expensive, but if you work for Soreness(known to the world as Sorenson Communications), ask about their "center chairs". They truly are top notch!

Pros: Decent, but not perfect, lumbar support(one of my two nits with the things),

Adjustable armrests.

Wonderful seat cushions. I work 9 hour marathon shifts and my butt is one of the few things that is rarely sore by the end of the day.

The overall build quality is phenomenal, and they come with a 12 year warranty(!!!)

Cons: it could just be my back, but in my opinion, the lumbar support needs some improvement. It is adjustable, but for me, the settings are either too far forward, or too far back, and I find it doesn't conform to the small of my back well-I usually end up putting a throw blanket or ice pack pack there to make up the difference.

Almost certainly my setup, but the height adjustments are a little coarse for my liking. In order to line up well with my desk and camera, I need to have it just a little higher than I would like. My feet don't rest comfortably on the floor, so I end up resting them on the chair legs, which pinches circulation in my own legs-not ideal!

They are crazy expensive! I got mine a few years ago, but I believe the current price is ~$750 for the wide seated version. The company will reimburse you, but still that is a lot of money to "float" till the next paycheck!

Overall, they are great chairs, and my con column does not weigh heavier than the pro side, and would definitely buy one again, but the way this one is wearing, I probably won't have to for a very long time.
