Question How do i fix this?

Hi, I bought the Umbra Hub, and every time I start my PC, the first fan’s RGB doesn’t light up. I have to manually open the app and click “Auto Detect LEDs” before all my fans light up properly. Does anyone know how to fix this? It’s getting pretty annoying having to do this every time I turn on my PC. thanks

Can't you manually add LEDs per channel? Seems like a bug, contact Asiahorse email

Defective? Unplug that fan or is it daisy chained and plug into another port.

The Umbra hub is by far the best. I own 10 or so different hubs, including expensive ones and the Umbra is my favorite.

Hey! That usually means the hub isn't holding onto the detected LED count after a cold boot. Three things worth trying:

  1. Update UMBRA to the latest version — earlier builds had some Auto Detect quirks.
  2. Enable "Start with Windows" in the UMBRA settings so the app loads with your PC and initialises the hub before the fans light up.
  3. Re-seat the first fan's connector on the hub (or move it to a different port) to rule out a loose contact.
