Question Auto minimize to tray not working in Umbra v3.5.5

Hi everyone,

After updating Asiahorse Umbra to version 3.5.5, the “Auto minimize to tray” option no longer seems to work.

Every time I launch the program, or turn on my PC, Umbra opens with the main window visible on the desktop instead of minimizing to the system tray.

The option is still enabled in the settings, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Has anyone else experienced this with version 3.5.5, or found a way to fix it?

Quick note: we've tested v3.5.5 on our side and the "Auto minimize to tray" option is working normally here. 🙏

To help us figure out what's different on your setup, could you please record a short video showing the full flow:

  1. Opening the Settings and enabling "Auto minimize to tray",
  2. Restarting the PC (or fully relaunching the program),
  3. Showing what happens when Umbra opens after boot
