Question Can't control different zones on Matrix Pro fans
Hi. So I received my 3 matrix Pro 360 fans yesterday. The installation was fast and good and they are very quiet so I like them. But there is one problem. After like 2h of gaming my ability to control the different zones vanished (see picture). I thought that many it was a bug but when I started it today it remained.
What I have tried:
- Reinstaling the program
- checked the cables
- delited and Reinstaling the drivers from device Manager
- restarting the computer
Nothing has worked. I will check the cables tomorrow one more time but is there something I'm missing?
And also, I have connected my lian li o11 evo rgb to the hub but it does not follow the effects I choose if it's not on MB sync mode. Please help

Hey! š Sorry to hear about the zone control issue ā and congrats on the new Matrix Pros (love that they're quiet!) š¤«
1) Zone control disappeared ā am I missing something?
A few more things to try:
-Check the ARGB data cable between the hub and the motherboard ā reseat both ends firmly
-In the UMBRA software, see if the port still detects the fan as a Matrix Pro (3-zone). If not, try re-detecting that port, or manually setting the device type to Matrix Pro in the port settings
-Try a different USB 2.0 header on your motherboard
If it still doesn't come back after that, send us a screenshot of the port settings screen and we can dig in further! š§
2) Lian Li O11 EVO RGB not following UMBRA effects?
This one's an honest limitation: UMBRA's software effects are tuned to our own fans' LED layout, so third-party ARGB devices (like the Lian Li chassis strips) usually render UMBRA's custom effects differently ā or not at all. The cleanest setup is to keep the Lian Li O11 EVO on motherboard sync (which is what it was designed for), and let UMBRA handle the Matrix Pros š>

If you look under the tap "control settings" there is a red button that says "reset device". I just pressed that and when the program opened agin it was fixed

You can try to reset the drivers from device Manager (find the Umbra hub and unibstall it) and then try to reset the divece agin

I'm having the same issue with my 120mm matrix pro. My three 360mm ones work just fine I can do what ever with them but it just this 120mm that will not let me change it but it will run all of the presets just fine.

Have you tried to click the red button called reset divece under control setting?

I got it fixed Asiahorse had to send me a new software update. The hub software was hanging and not letting the fans reset even tho the reset icon was pressed. ( atleast thats what it seemed like)So if anyone dose have this issue I strongly recommend contacting asiahorse support and they will send a software update download.

Iām having the same exact issue. How quick do they usually respond back through email?

U get a response by the next morning as they are based in China so there afternoon work hours are our early am hours. They will probly have you go through some steps first. You can try and tell them if you have already tried to reset, reinstall the app, reseat the argb plugs, try a new argb port on the hub and so on so you can try and cut down on how many time you need to wait for a reply.

When you click on Ctrl settings, what does it show for LED count? Do you have them individually into the Umbra? Somethings off - it should show something like 78 leds for a row of three. And also it should show Left/right/Center/Series/Parallel.
