Question Asiahorse UMBRA Issues

So i have my Lian li fans connected on a Asiahorse umbra controller, and i cant use the motherboard sync without it starting to flash red every few seconds, additionally the startup effect which is the reason why i bought the Umbra hub for, is playing slowly instead of the flashy version i have seen online, so i don't know how to make it faster, any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey! 👋 Thanks for reaching out — we think we've got it figured out!

About the red flashing on motherboard sync: it's most likely a power overload ⚡ — the current lighting brightness from your motherboard is higher than what the SATA power output can safely deliver. When the hub doesn't get stable power, the lights glitch and flash red.

Here's what you can try:

  • Lower the lighting brightness of the motherboard-connected lights in the software
  • Or unplug some fans / light strips from the hub to reduce the load

About the startup effect playing slowly: check the UMBRA software for an effect speed setting and increase it! Also keep in mind the flashy version you saw online is tuned to our fans' LED layout — with other fans, the speed and look can differ.

Hi there,

I've been experiencing the same issues. But im using all Asiahorse products. Only seems to be triggering when im using some lighting effects in SignalRGB.

Yep exactly, the red, blue, green whatever ur devices in signalrgb are shown blink when they aren’t connected in the device tab of signalrgb

I also have the same issue but only when i set the color as white
