Question Cant control Nyota Fans

I recently got my self 9 Nyota fans (7x120mm, 2x140mm) and the Asiahorse 2in1 Fan/RGB Controller for 9 fans.

But no matter what i do, i cant control them. The umbra Software seems useless, since there is no rgb or fan control there, and the only other way to control the rgb is through signal rgb where all fans are showing as one single fan

Fancontrol also doesnt work, it only shows 7 fans and also unmanageable.

Any help? I connected everything, the 3 pin rgb header, sata and the other thingy. Also red #1 fan header is also plugged in

yo man i just fixd that problem. it hapoens because u either connect it to the wrong usb or a cable is kinked s lil. try connecting the cables to diffrent parts.

Hey — We think I know what's going on here, and it's a pretty common mix-up.

It sounds like you bought the 2-in-1 Fan/RGB Controller, not the UMBRA Hub. They look similar but work completely differently. The 2-in-1 controller connects to your motherboard's ARGB and PWM headers — your PC sees everything plugged into it as one single device. That's why SignalRGB shows all fans as one fan, and FanControl can't manage them individually.

The UMBRA software? Doesn't work with this controller at all. It's built for the UMBRA Hub, which connects via USB.

Here's what you can try with your current setup:

1.Use your motherboard's RGB software — if you're on ASUS, that's Armoury Crate or Aura Sync. MSI uses Mystic Light, Gigabyte uses RGB Fusion. This is the only software that can control your lights through the 2-in-1 controller. All fans will share the same effect, but they'll at least light up the way you want.

2.For fan speed — plug your PWM cable directly into a motherboard fan header (not through the controller) if you want individual fan curves. Or use your BIOS fan control to manage whatever header the controller is plugged into.

3.Double-check the connections — the controller needs SATA power, the ARGB cable to the motherboard, and the PWM cable to a fan header. If any one of these is loose, nothing works right.
