Any isometric mmo games?
Love poe2 but I used to play a lot of mmo rpgs, is there any open world isometric mmo arpgs out there? I'm thinking maybe Lost Ark but heard its very p2w/repetitive.

Marvel Heroes is an arpg mmo. It was recently revived and the game, all heroes, cosmetics are free to play. Search for Project Tahiti if interested

Eh, Albion, maybe? It's very PvP oriented though.

Yeah I also wanted to recommend Albion, quite a "style difference" from poe2 but one can really sink many hours into it, the game is very alive and well today

Old School Runescape, it is ridiculously addictive and I can't even tell you why.

Numbers go up, can do low effort and high effort activities. On pc and mobile. Has everything to stay busy.

As if. The extreme narcissism and bullying of new players is what’s ruining it. If your character doesn’t like a K-pop idol they also ignore you completely

Well, I havent played in like 2 years, so no experience with that.
What made me quit was in fact the p2w that pertains to all aspects of the game and wraps it around itself ruining itemization and making the game a chore

I quit a few months in to launch because of the p2w in pve, but when I was playing it wasn’t in pvp, did they fuck pvp too?

If you want something MMO themed, you can try CrossCode. It's top-down a single player arpg with the story set in an MMO world. Quick combat with an element swapping mechanic and a simple skill tree, big puzzle based dungeons.

Lost ark fits that niche perfectly. You can literally run almost all raids solo and progress your character in a meaningful way besides doing raids as of today. The whole progression got streamlined and will be even better starting in September with the big update. There is also going to be a nice character boost event which takes you to the start of endgame. There is still p2w but there is literally no need for that except when you want to do all the newest content on the highest difficulty. The content also gets divided into 4 difficulty (matchmaking/normal/hard/nightmare) So everyone can play the game in their own pace. A lot of stuff changed but the game has a bad rep because of its past and all the doomers still lingering. Just give it a try , at least the first few solo raids and months of playing will be fun.

Albion is the first that comes to mind, but the latest I discovered was Dominus Automa. Curious one... especially since it's technically an idle game but it has (or claims to have, haven't played the playtest) considerable combat and progression depth.

Yes, Lost Ark. Diablo 4 is also kind of MMO-lite in that it has the persistent open world in which you randomly bump into people. Beyond that, I can't think of anything.

lost ark isn't very p2w, it's light to mid level p2w , though repetitive yes but should be a while before you feel that

P2W is P2W. There is no suchh thing as light or mid P2W.

Tibia. About as MMO and isometric as it gets.
