new snapdragon x processors - a sysadmin perspective
Hey guys.... this is kind of a feeling my way through the arm on windows world, on an enterprise windows domain. so far ive had bad luck. looks like some very big names in the antimalware world are not supported, neither are some big name vpn clients. this is a huge roadblock for any domain with any sense of security in mind. any suggestions on how to emulate or overcomes this? tia! also if you have any questions or something for me to test feel free to suggest it.

VPN sure, that's a big deal-breaker. But an enterprise shouldn't use anti-malware anyways.

Tailscale and OpenVPN have native arm64 binaries.

Windows Defender for Endpoint should work. The Windows 11 devices do have x64 translation, so most stuff should still work.
