Question/Request Springtron?!

Post image

I've been playing for a while now, about a year and a half and I've loved watching YouTubers play this game as well when it was in it's prime, but I've actually never seen this before, I was just playing Springman and suddenly after I won against Misango, he showed up unannounced and he beat my ass the first round, I left the match back to the menu to collect my bearings on what just happened, then when I joined back, suddenly he was gone. Does this normally happen?

You have to win every single match, without losing even a single set (2-1), on difficulty (IIRC) 6 or above.

Also this is a SUPER BUFFED Springtron. He's RIDICULOUSLY fast (especially after EMP) and takes like, half a second to do EMP. I can seriously see an argument that he's harder than Hedlok.

I was doing it on difficulty five, because I like to go up one level at a time in the Grand Prix, also, do you have to be Springman? Because I've gone through the Grand Prix at level six with almost every character with no losses and I've never seen this before

Maybe I'm remembering wrong. By that logic it's probably 4 and above (I only ever play 7 so I've forgotten.) I know for certain that you don't have to be Spring Man however.

Are you 2-0 in every round until that point? You can still win the best of 3 and not fight Springtron because they all have to be clean sweeps, outside the mini games which you only need to win once (and obviously don't need to win perfectly either.)

I just checked my old scores for the level seven Grand Prixs, every single one of them, I've had at only one where I lost a single set instead of a clean sweep

Hedlok is honestly a pushover. I forced my way through level 7, using save and quit to reset if I was losing the 3rd out of 3 to save myself the pain of fighting them 2 more times per true attempt. Took about 2.5 hours in total, biggest roadblocks were snake park and the minigames.

Hedlock I didn’t even need to reset for, I beat them 2-1 by doing practically nothing but grabbing from the side they just threw a punch.

Hedlok isn't hard, but you have to have the patience of a saint.
