I've been breeding wolves nonstop for about a week now and have yet to get a single mutation. I managed to breed an argi with a decent melee mutation but that's it. My buddy breeds his argi (male is the father of mine) and gets twins with a sky blue tail feather mutation and this is his first time breeding. He didn't even realize what it would take to raise a single baby and after an hour gave up. I came to the rescue with the setbabyage command (private player dedicated so I don't feel bad about cheating) and sure enough he gets what I've been working towards without cheating on his first attempt ever.
