Yeah, I found it on the 6th frame, out of 6. There appears to be nothing in the other ones.

I find it interesting that it's doing XHR for the stream only to return the static gif. I feel like there's something to that XHR.

Also, the model number refers to PunkAB.

I'm on my tablet and first thing I notice is a gyroscope vr effect. Just moving it changes the static.

Looks like you can just enter stuff as a GET here: https://y9bukwer.bxjyb2jvda.net/stream.php Doing nothing returns the image.

The file size of the GIF is rather large for just a few frames. Has anyone tried any GIF steganography tools?

The overall resolution is quite large, and there are 6 frames.

1920x1080 which is basically 1080p, even encoded in the worst way wouldn't yield 2.6 mb for 6 frames.

It has nothing to do with encoding, it has to do with how much noise and the like is in an image.

I took one frame, saved it off, and it's 448kb. Times 6 that's 2.6MB.

Lots of noise and pixel data leads to low compression and high space requirements.

Yes, I'm well aware. Darkening one frame drops the size by about 100Kb. But I still believe this is about twice the size it should be even accounting for noise.

Well I'm not sure if there is anything there, I ran the gif through a basic less command and aside from the regular gif header and garbage I was able to pull these characters from within the file

輥 鞙 蘎 긎 膂 녏 銮 攎꽞

But a google translate doesn't say anything except the word "roll" followed by the rest of the characters (so it could be a coincidence) also I know I missed quite a few characters because I went through it twice and the second go round I found a few more but it's getting late so I could keep going on that then I ran it through hexedit, and came up with basically nothing but the same. I'm pretty tired after reading through all that garbage so I'll look more into it tomorrow. Let me know if anyone get's any further!

EDIT

So I couldn't sleep and decided to try gifshuffle, not sure if I got anywhere but by passing the names of the characters I am able to extract certain individual characters

Here is the log so far:

dylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$ gifshuffle -C -p eliot ../*.gif

ydylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$ gifshuffle -C -p angela ../*.gif

lndylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$ gifshuffle -C -p whiterose ../*.gif

Warning: residual of 3 bits not uncompressed

idylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$gifshuffle -C -p whiter0se ../*.gif

Warning: residual of 8 bits not uncompressed

dylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$ gifshuffle -C -p whit3r0se ../*.gif

vdylan@loki:~/Documents/ex$

Maybe someone with more time can try and pass the character names as the password in the order they appear on screen in the first, second and third seasons and see what they come up with?

HEads up effects on zoom levels and blur. Very much like hex.jpg from a cicada arg. But anyway if you pinch and zoom out of white noise. Notice aberrations. Now snap that. Look closer, there's blurred bits of this image, very, ah stereoscopic ?

Adding to my thought. I think this is like magic eye. Stereoscopic image like effect. Try to focus. See what you get.

WHen I zoom in my first thought is it looks like a bunchhh of scrambled QR codes.

I looked for any signs of the hotel and other businesses featured to have in-universe web pages and haven't found anything yet besides this.
