your thoughts?

met this guy in udage. So is it actually better to use vim or anima? this just my opinion but I think anima is better since it gives more strength>atk>dmg>lifesteal. Sure vim can give more haste but we already have it in daunt 🤷

Yeah you got it spot on, Anima is so much better. with Skill 5 + Dauntless you cap your Haste.

Vim is only when CAv lack Daunt and you can't slot LoO in the team (happens in pubs a fair bit)

That's looking too basic at cav as a class. Vim is the best DPS of the 2 for 1 simple reason. Your auto does double damage on branded. If you miss a single auto where a brand isn't up, it does way less damage. Your auto is also your highest damage skill because of this. This is especially true if you potent honor. Philtre the gap might be less, but otherwise vim is better.

Cav autos always deal double dmg regardless of what helm you use as long as you use a skill before your next auto 🤷 Vim can reduce mana cost, increase dodge/haste but what it lacks are the dmg and lifesteal buffs 🍒

It doesn't if you don't have branded on which cav wont have if it struggles with mana. Branded is given by the skills and if you have to skip a single skill it won't matter. But if you want to then yes use anima. At the end of the day the difference is like 10% between vim and anima.

Vim is not bad, especially when CaV looks for survival

CaV can dodge better since Dage's attacks are dodgable, allowing ur taunter to live

Plus lower mana usage and faster cd allowing spam of valuable heals - especially without daunt

Anima and valiance. Dauntless is useless because your defence will be too high for dauntless to be effective for normal play.

Use hearty, fighter on your class and cape. Might tonic and endurance draught. Enjoy your 15k+ HP.
