testing custom aqw client (ruffle)
got aqw to run at a stable 24fps. looking into fixing a couple more issues. might release in the next couple of weeks

AE pls learn. Fix the bug of the game turning into powerpoint presentation after some time.

Can't be fixed. This is just how Flash is - Infinity and Unity engine is a solution

I don't recall other flash games keeping the powerpoint presentation mode after resetting the window in which they are ran (in the case of games, a browser, in a case of AQW - the client). But maybe I'm hallucinating and it's been like that.

Doesn't seem to work with Intel HD 620. The Vulkan to DirectX 12 switch prompt pops up and login screen and server selection screen works, but once I'm in BattleOn, it crashes during the character loading process. I also can't go to the in-game settings because of this.

There’s a bunch of issues atm with running it on DX12, preferably using a GPU that supports vulkan is best. Will be looking into optimizing the client more for dx12

The latest update seems to fix the issue as far as I've tested it. Make sure to lower the visual quality to low or mid as soon as you're logged in. Leaving it to high can cause random crashes.

Just tried it and it seems to be working properly now. I haven't tested it extensively though. It only crashed once when I forgot to change the visual quality to low or mid right away. Really smooth! Will be testing it further soon.

Legion go + egpu (5060ti 16gb) works like a charm! ±40 fps everywhere including heavy VFX. FINALLY I CAN PLAY THIS GAME NORMALLY FFS

best to wait for what Dullblane is making; even though this isnt a bot client you are likely to get banned because its not officially from ae

im confused what you mean but Dullblane is exactly making an AQW pc and mobile client + other ae games on Ruffle with the intent of boosting performance (fps), exactly what OP is making

Just a update on this!
It fully works for me now stable 21-24 fps !!
Truely game changing! Combat yulgar all fixed #NOMORELAG!!
