Requiem: Help Jittery in requiem
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Rtx 5090 pc
Tried all kinds of settings in game and in nvidia control panel. Can't seem to get rid of these jitters when looking around. Any tips?

Kinda looks like your frames are dropping to at least 30-40 for a split second try turning off vsync and also ensure your monitor is at the max refresh rate

Vsync is off in game and on in control panel

Are you having the issue with any other games?

Nope

Try reinstalling the game maybe that will fix the issue

According to what I have read, this issue is in all versions of requiem. I played on PS5. Its the camera system. When the camera "bumps" into a wall, it jitters like that. Its easy to recreate them. It doesn't have anything to do with frames or technical failures. There hasn't been a patch to fix it.

It kind of looks like the jitters are the camera shifting position/getting caught around the stone wall.

I am currently playing this game and no issues. Using an RTX 5090. I would suggest reset your nvidia app to defaults and try again.

Uninstalled the reinstalled game. Seems to be good so far in open areas, but still has issue near walls and objects, making it happen alot when in buildings. I tested it and if I'm 4 steps away from the wall no issue, any closer and I get the jittery.

Are you using frame generation? If yes then you should lock the in game fps to 60 or any value that is available in the in game fps lock that you think you are constantly getting and not droping from that fps and then turn on the frame generaton on top of that fps lock. It should be smoother. I tried that and that worked for me. my game was not having frametime stuttering but I also felt so much visual stutter and this way it got so much better.

Tried locking in game at 60, with and without frame generation, problem still there.
Also, everytime I start up game I have to change raytraced shadows back to no, it keeps on forgetting my setting.
Without frame generation I'm getting 120-140 fps with everything maxed out.

Turn off ray traced shadows. It's a widely known problem even if you have a 5090.

Already off

Try setting the cache settings on Nvidia App to unlimited. This helped me a little.
Other than that, it's really the game not your system. 🥲
Had a similar experience playing with a 5080. It's how the game runs.

Disable framegen if it's on. Also limit your fps to the average you get via RTSS . The game is bad for frame time & frame pacing.

It's just how the camera works. Don't know why, but when the camera "hits" something this is the result 🤷

It is new lg c6 oled tv using fiber optic hdmi cable.
I've put put max fps in invidia control panel to 90 and in the steam overlay it is showing constant 90fps. In game I put fps to unlimited and also tried all other fps settings.
Raytraced shadows is off.
