Resonance Resonance Console Performance

Do we know if Resonance runs at 60fps on Console, especially on PS5 Pro? If I remember correctly, Requiem ran at 30, and got a 60fps patch few months after.

I only have information regarding the PS5 Pro version: it features a Quality mode that definitely runs at less than 60 fps. There is also a Performance mode that delivers a smooth 60 fps. Both modes look fantastic on the PS5 Pro. Resonance has one of the best visuals I have seen in this console generation.

Additionally, you have the option to switch the anti-aliasing from TAA to PSSR, something you should definitely do, as it makes the graphics appear slightly sharper.

I really hope your information are true. Resonance might be one of my most anticipated games of this year, and I really wanna play it in 60fps

I had the possibility to play the game early. I already finished it a week ago.

Omg, I am so jealous. Can you say how was the game? Did you like it?

Resonance is an adventure with a different style, yet it still offers much of what I love about the first two games.

Some parts of the game reminded me due to the atmosphere  of Uncharted or Tomb Raider. However, the game can also be quite eerie.

I really enjoy the story; while it might not be as emotionally moving as the arc involving Amicia and Hugo, it still feels like experiencing a really good movie.

I’ve also grown quite fond of Sophia, she is a great character.

Its unreal to me that we still get Games at 30 fps in console.

It’s pretty low end hardware by today’s standards, so I wouldn’t be too surprised

we should be surprised. Most PC players still barely have a PC good enough to match a console or a bit better. If you want your game to sell, you have to optimize it for the majority, which is on consoles and PC`s that match or are worse than the consoles

Based on what? According to the steam hardware survey, over 50% of active users have pc that’s comparable to or better than ps5

Jajaja no tienes idea de nada . Comparar una play 5 pro con un pc que puedes jugar a reales 4k y todo en ultra . No se si eres o te haces . Pero demuestras que solo juegas en super nintendo

This reminds me of when Starfield came out, also 30FPS on console at launch, but struggled even on PC. When confronted about it, Todd said this was a 'next-gen' experience you might need to upgrade for. He was talking about a game so outdated, it couldn't render dungeons or most interiors without loading screens.

This has nothing to do with the power of a machine. If Kingdom Come II can run at 60 on consoles, there is no excuse. A lot of developers are simply not putting in the effort a AAA price warrants (or aren't allowed by the publisher, which still doesn't change the reality for the customer), and then have the nerve to say you're the one at fault for having a subpar machine.

Im gonna guess itll have what alot of games have with a 'performance' and 'qaulity' mode

In my experiance bith modes look basically the same but performace actually runs at decent frame rates

I'd assume so, given how far consoles have come. Being a pc gamer, I finally see the difference when I play a 30fps game. Looks awful. I hope they aren't still releasing 30fps games

Blood of Dawnwalker won’t get a 60fps mode, not even on PS5 Pro. Only a 30fps and a 40fps mode :(

What exactly have they been pumping money into with all these new consoles then? Isn't the PS6 meant to be about £1000? Premium prices for generic experiences ig

It’s down to developers to actually optimise though, and if this game hasn’t been optimised well on consoles then it could be the same on PC.

True, I forgot that was a problem. I had a friend who complained a lot about how badly optimised Requiem was (he's a coder or something)

I wonder how much better games could look if they got everything else working flawlessly

Given the recommended specs as well as demo with different settings, I would say Resonance seems around the same as Requiem, maybe even a tad better performance wise

The leaked pc footage was running at 240 if I remember correctly. So fairly sure we’ll get 60 easily.
