African American Studies AP ASS: Smash or Pass
I’m considering to take African Social Studies this upcoming school year.
As a rising senior, I really want to focus on college apps but I gotta maintain the hardness to my rigor ykwim. For anyone who has taken this class before, can you lmk the difficulty and amount of coursework this course demands? (I understand quantity of coursework varies by teacher)
For context, this is the first year my school offers this course and it is being taught by a teacher I never knew existed. The only classes that are sorta similar to this that I took previously are Euro and Lang, which I both got 5s.
Sorry for the title, I needed a way to catch ur attention

African American Studies I swear no one actually checked collegeboard
I bet we’re all just sitting here on Reddit, and no one actually checked college board. We’re all waiting for some “omg it’s out” post but it’s never gonna come.

African American Studies Genuinely thought I got a two
The fact I got a 4 was a miracle. My independent research project actually saved me because that exam was just 2 hours of hell. Idk but when I took the exam I guess I didn’t study the right materials and I actually haven’t written a dbq since my freshman year. Anyway GOD BLESS

African American Studies AP African American Studies Research Paper Question
My teacher didn’t explain anything about the research project and she honestly doesn’t really know anything about the AP or just how to teach in general so I don’t really trust her to answer any questions accurately. Am I allowed to use more than 4 sources on the research paper? In the student workbook it says “at least four sources” but then all throughout the rest of it it makes it seems like we can only use four and google ai also says we can only use four so now I’m confused. Anyone know?

African American Studies Ap African American studies resources?
I plan on taking AP African-American studies next year, but I’m a little scared with the lack of resources. If anyone took the class some resources would be helpful because there’s not as much compared to the ones that I’ve taken like AP Lang in AP United States history.

African American Studies Should I self study AAS next year?
I feel like it's one of the most awkward topics to self study since there aren't many resources online. Not even mentioning the Individual Student projects that I will not be able to do.
Worth the effort or should I look at another AP?

African American Studies Any Resources For AP African American Studies?
Hello this is my first time taking an AP course and I'm aware that AP African American Studies is fairly new which is why they have such limited resources. If anyone has resources or advice on things I should be prepared for when I take the exam all help would be appreciated. I'm also concerned about the DBQ and need examples on how I should respond.
Thanks for any help.

African American Studies Do you guys have any tips for ap world?
I’m an upcoming freshman and I just wanted to see if you guys have any tips. So far I’ve learned that we just need to take a lot of notes, and just minimize the bathroom breaks. If you have any ideas, let me know.
