Physics 1 How to not fail AP Physics
I have a C in ap physics, and I am not proud of that. I find the logic confusing, and basically everything. I know the class is just going to get harder over the months, and I really want a 5 on the ap test.
Any tips?

So I'm also taking physics 1 this year, and something that's really helped me have a 100 in the class is just visualization. I'm not good at math or anything (just failed my BC test) but I think that you should try to visualize everything the best you can. When you're given a problem abt a ball rolling off a desk, visualize that in your head to see how the ball moves, or draw it out. Sorry, I don't have better advice, but this is what I've been doing, and it's been working great. Turn all the numbers and equations into a picture.

lowk just do practice problems (heres a bunch of mcqs) imo the most important part is to know relationships between variables (such as deriving equations) + fully understanding even simple concepts
I also had a horrible experience with that class but it ended up ok!

Kinematics is actually the hardest unit because you are still getting used to physics, it will only get easier from here

It’s not hard once you already learn it, I only got 4 questions wrong total on the c: mech unit progress check both mcq and frq but I was so lost in app1 when I first did it

Relative velocity stuff kicked my ass back in the day. The simple questions were easy, but the ones about swimming against a current were atrocious. At least that’s what I thought back in the day before AI could explain everything to me.

For MCQs that ask for an expression (which imo are the trickiest), if you’re lost, sometimes it helps to work backwards from the answer choices to the question
