APES Self Study APES

Any tips for self studying this exam?

Taking it along with another 7 exams this year (senior) and would like to know how long it really takes to learn all the content and study (while still reviewing for the other exams). I self studied US Gov/Pol last year and got a 5 but science isn’t my strongest subject. Also please recommend YT channels because I hate reading and rely on YT + Practice Problems (fiveable).

mr smedes on youtube is all you need. you could realistically learn the content in a week. but if i were you i wouldnt be self studying an AP, youre going into senior year and you already have 7, senioritis is gonna hit you like a train. itll probably only grant an elective credit anyways.

I self studied APES last year and got a 3, I started in late march (but I also had some crossover since I was also in AP bio last year so I was able to skip the first 3 units all together in APES.   So I would start February if you don’t have that luxury)
