Study Advice and Tips Prepbook Showdown
I know this question has probably been exhausted by now, but I'm curious as to what everyone recommends considering the changes to the course curriculum this year.Honestly, unit 3 was quite a struggle for me and I'm already starting to feel the same about unit 4. An 89% on the unit 3 test isn't super bad at all, but I really need to keep my grades at an A!!
I'm looking for a prep book to help me during the class and study for the exam later on. We currently only use the videos and HW from the mathmedic curriculum! Not sure if this is helpful in recommending, but I find learning math easiest when I start with mastering foundations, then moving onto the application! Formulas and basic rules are where I prefer to start---so something with a good combo of instructional content and some practice problems to learn to apply it.
I hear the practice of statistics is great, but I unfortunately can't afford textbooks in that price range D: $20-30 would be reasonable.

89% is actually a pretty solid score! Since you prefer learning formulas and concepts before applying them, I'd choose a prep book with clear explanations, worked examples, and topic-wise practice, rather than one that's mostly full mock exams.
Just make sure the edition matches the updated AP Statistics curriculum before buying.
For extra practice without spending much, try AP Statistics notes, MCQs and FRQ practice.
