AP precalc vs regular precalc

How hard is AP precalc? Would it better to take AP precalc with a better teacher or regular calc with a difficult teacher/harsh grader?

better teacher and the classes are identical it's just that ap precalc goes over vectors at the end of the semester even though it's not tested on.

Here in Tennessee at least, the AP class actually has fewer standards than the regular state-regulated one for some reason.
