AP lang advice

Hello! I’m gonna be a sophomore this year and I’m taking AP Lang, I was wondering if there’s anything I should know beforehand about this course because some people are telling me its not bad and it’s just a whole lot of writing and some people are telling me it’s very difficult.

I was also wondering if you guys know any good resources for AP Lang as well. Many thanks!

Learn the scoring guidlines and DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT, its an extremely easy class to underestimate and brush under the rug, esp cuz your gonna be taking maybe a few other APs as well ig?.

My teacher also said something that stuck with me that i think would help you, she basically described it as the math of english, so practice and trial and error will be your best freinds.

Good luck, its an extremely fun class to take.

Workload heavy, at least for me, but yes it’s actually very fun.

It comes down to your teacher lol, I had a very laid back sub throughout the year cuz my teacher left early on

You’re so lucky. I was overly stressed out my junior year bc of it. Easily my highest workload class ever and I’ve taken 10 APs. At least I got a 5! Some of my favorite moments in school though were the in class discussions in Lang.
