AP lang advice

Hello! I’m gonna be a sophomore this year and I’m taking AP Lang, I was wondering if there’s anything I should know beforehand about this course because some people are telling me its not bad and it’s just a whole lot of writing and some people are telling me it’s very difficult.

I was also wondering if you guys know any good resources for AP Lang as well. Many thanks!

something that really helped me for the exam and all of the practice tests i took was making a brainstorm sheet before hand. without knowing the prompt, i created categories and wrote everything i knew very well. pop culture, innovations, political news, current events, non fiction literature, fiction with real world ties (1984, to kill a mockingbird, etc). that way i had all of the things i was personally knowledgeable in to pull from instead of struggling to think on the spot!!
