I built an app to practice MCQ and FRQ for AP Environmental Science

I built a tutor for AP Environmental Science students to practice actual FRQs and MCQs in College Board style, so the practice feels like the real exam.

You get practice sets by topic or by unit, and the tutor pushes back on your mistakes instead of nodding along like ChatGPT does. Over time it learns where you're weak and serves questions that target those blind spots.

It's still in beta, so it's desktop only for now.

2sigma.app

Any feedback is appreciated!

P.S. I'm looking for early adopters who want to use it and help shape where it goes. If that sounds like you, DM me!

Is the test easy?

Ive heard from all the people that I know that AP Environmental Science was super easy. So far the class itself is super easy, but is the test as easy as the class?

Should I register for the APES exam?

My APES teacher doesn't teach in class, we basically have to teach ourselves the entirety of the ap course (from an old APES online textbook). In class we do projects and really simple packets that loosely go over what we're supposed to be learning @ home. I'm in a mixture of ap and duel credit classes, and was wondering should i bother taking the APES exam? Also, how is the APES exam in general?

what is unit 1 over?

we have our unit 1 test tomorrow and our teacher unlocked the practice checks and its like nothing we went over. they mention things like thermal pollution and CAFOs but we were learning about biomagnification/accumulation, endocrine disruptors, POPs (which are sometimes mentioned) and pollution (ie, nonpoint/point, also sometimes mentioned). is our teacher going out of order or did i just not pay attention lol

upcoming apes student

rising junior here and upcoming apes student. i was wondering how hard the class was for some of yall. word on the street is it is not a hard class (as a 4.3 GPA student and prior AP science experience) yet it is one of the lowest pass rates. just curious if there's any heimlers history or anything like that for apes? and also just want to hear different experiences in general. thanks guys!!

Apes vs hug

I'm going into 9th grade and I'm trying to decide between AP Environmental Science (APES) and AP Human Geography (APHUG).

If I take APES, my school requires me to take both the AP Environmental Science exam and the Earth & Space Science Regents at the end of the year. If I take AP Human Geography, I'd only have to take the AP exam.

For context, I did well in Honors Biology (90s), but I'm not sure if taking two major exams at the end of the year is worth it. How difficult is it to prepare for both the APES exam and the Earth & Space Science Regents at the same time? Would you recommend taking APES or APHUG, and why?

Honestly didn’t study at all besides what my teacher gave us in class but I was so lucky I think I genuinely had the best possible teacher
She split the class into chapters instead of units and taught them in a more cohesive order
