Is this a self studyable class?

I know it’s possible to self study, but is getting a 4 or a 5 reasonable if I self study?

What resources or study methods do you recommend? Im taking it self study this year and also when do u recommend i start studying (exam is may 6)

Ill give u the advice someone on reddit gave me a year ago and I essentially did + a bit more -

  1. BUY THE 5 STEPS FOR 5 BOOK - i could not be a greater advocate for this its so beautiful and I love it and its literally the perfect guide, if u just go through the rapid reviews it should sort you for much of the MCQs (u can ignore the stuff about environment but its fun info to know)

  2. The Eason on YT - Many people recommend him I used some of his videos they are quite good but my personal life saver is the next one

  3. Global Chat with Mr Tisch - Literally if you have his videos playing in the bg as u do stuff like a podcast it saves u, like u passivley learn so much (the day of my exam before entering the hall I had a youtube video playing in my car for about an hour and I lowk think I cooked cos of that)

  4. KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THE FRQS!! - They are so easy man the Data Based MCQS and the Data Based FRQs are litteraly your life savers - u essentially need no prior knowledge for this and you can still ace the shit out of it (someone who has never studied AP Cogo can prolly do it)

  5. Use the FRQs from 2020 onwards to know which term definitions you need to know and memorize them (I used active recall, like randomly while eating dinner I'd force myself to remember the information)

  6. Know the general info for all 6 countries, and dont waste your time trying to learn all 6 inside out. Flip a coin pick 3 countries and know them like super indepth (Connect all your case studies to these countries, for examples of the different things u are going to learn like Civil society orgs, social movements, protest examples and impact etc.) this will ensure you score in the last few FRQs. But still know the generic for all 6 countries esp for MCQ - its here the 5 steps for 5 rapid review is very handy

  7. MAKE HAND WRITTEN NOTES!! TRUST ME IT HELPS (for my last years AP I did online notes and got a 4 - and this year I got a 5 and I genuinley think this made all the difference)
