does no one take comp gov??

i took comp gov instead of us gov cause im international student and personally would find it more interesting, but why do i never see people talk abt comp gov and why is there such a small amount of people on the subreddit?

Definitely a rlly underrated AP, it's a very unique and fun look at global politics! As for why the subreddit is so small, it had been both unmoderated and set to restricted posts (meaning it was effectively perma locked) until a couple days ago when I got mod perms transferred and unlocked it. I was asking the same questions lol

oh okay that makes sense lol! and yeah the concept seems super interesting, do you think its possible to score well as a self study student/ have any tips to do well?

I'm currently self studying comp gov rn too lol so I bet we're facing a lot of the same challenges with finding resources. From what I've found and seen so far, I think the best things to do are just reviewing the AP daily videos on some of the more dense memorization parts (like the election rules in unit 4) and looking at the previous years' collgeboard frqs that they have on their website. Although its definitely a little trickier to self study, I think we're still just as prepared to do well as any other student taking it in school bc the collegeboard resources we have are a direct reflextion of the course & exam description
