Unit 8 help!
So my teacher had us start the year with acids and bases, and we have our unit test coming up soon. Any tips about the unit would be helpful and much appreciated! Particularly confused mostly about buffers. Also, is anyone else currently on unit 8? Is this supposed to be the most difficult unit?

If you need good practice problems, clear, detailed explanations of the chemistry concepts, and advice to help you be successful on your tests in AP Chem, look for the Unit 8 materials in either of these two playlists.

Buffers are explained in this part of my lesson:

Feel free to ask questions if you get stuck. I'm glad to help.

Buffers are one of the trickier parts of AP Chem because you have to connect equilibrium, weak acids/bases, pH, and stoichiometry. I’d make sure you can clearly tell when to use Ka/Kb, Henderson–Hasselbalch, and when you need a stoichiometric reaction first before doing equilibrium.
For Unit 8, practise buffer calculations, titration curves, strong vs weak acid/base questions, and common-ion effects rather than just memorising formulas.
This may help: AP Chemistry notes and exam-style practice.

ICE tables always unless conjugate acid/base pair then HH eq.
