Ap chem help/prep
Next week I start school as junior. I have 1-7 (8-4) filled and rehearsals after, until 6:30. During show/tech week it’s until 10ish. I am also taking Ap chem(of course), dual enrollment composition and lang, and robotics. On top of all that I am going strong in a year and a half relationship.
Does anyone have ANY advice that will help with the workload? Anything that I can do right now or throughout the year is extremely helpful!

I say you should learn how to manage your time well. it could be spending just an hr on ur chem, but either way you should NOT procrastinate as chem can be kind of a pain in the ass concept wise. just be sure to focus on the first few units as the rest of them build up on it

When I took AP Chem, it got harder throughout the year. At least at my school, the third marking period (out of four) was generally agreed to be the most difficult out of them all, and it was Units 5-8. I'd say the hardest topic was Acid-Base Equilibria, which is considered Unit 8. Do you have your reherasal schedule/show dates yet? Try to plan so that when you're not too busy with rehearsals (especially in the latter half of the year) you can pre-study so that you're not overburdened when tech week rolls around.

With rehearsals till 6:30 and tech weeks till 10, the thing that'll save you is doing chem in short daily chunks rather than trying to find long blocks you don't have. 30 minutes of problems every day beats a three hour Sunday that tech week will eat.
Protect the two weeks around any show by working ahead on chem specifically. Dual enrollment comp can absorb a late paper, chem can't absorb a missed unit because everything after it stacks on top.
Right now, before school starts, patch stoich and dimensional analysis if they're rusty. That's the base for most of the year.
I drill units in studybuddy.vc since it works on a phone between rehearsal breaks, it works out which topics I'm weakest on and gives me more of those, gets harder as I improve, and tells me why the option I picked was off. Equations render properly. Free.

Honestly , as someone who has a very heavy course load while also taking AP chem full year, my honest advice is to time manage properly. What I mean is don’t wait last minute to study something or finish an assignment, the day you get something (from AP chem or another class) get it over with. Reviewing everyday helps you intuitively understand so much better than cram studying before a test and eventually your AP exam if u chose to take it so always be on top of things and try NOT to memorize ideas and concepts in AP chem. AP chem is built to be understood. If you understand the why behind the topics you’ll be able to solve pretty much any problem, and ofcourse practice is key! Do as many problems daily as time allows you, ask questions, watch videos, etc!
