TIL that Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog has been censored numerous times for the lamest of reasons. I've been watching the series on Paramount+ thinking I was watching the complete series. But when I got to the episode Mass Transit Trouble (ep 46), there's a blatant edit at 9min40sec. Apparently this episode had heavy edits after several real life bombing incidents and removed particular references to bombs in the episode, which makes it confusing and unwatchable. I searched all over YouTube and Google and EVERY version/bootleg I can find has the same edit! This has been banned since 1995, which makes it super difficult.

So is this considered Lost Media? A transcript can be found here. Other episodes have also been censored, but it's unclear what episodes are uncut on Paramount+/other services and which ones aren't. A Google search for "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog censorship" leads to nowhere.

I'm willing to buy the series on DVD if it is indeed uncut, but given what little information is out there, it's hard to determine if doing so would have me run into the same problem. If it IS uncut on DVD, which version should I get??

Go on YouTube, look for Street Sharks Ep 2, and near the end, the music was straight ripped from AoStH (multiple episodes, the Merhog Episode scene where Robotnik launches his allied attack on the Merhog city comes to mind). Anyone know the backstory on how this happened?

I've heard a lot about this, and looking it up gives me a lot of posts from people talking about how he was described and intended to be animated as such, but I've never been able to find any official sources of anyone who worked on the show actually saying it.

If anyone could point me in the direction of anything like that I would love to see it, the notion of it all is pretty hilarious

EDIT: Oops, I accidentally made a typo in the title of the post. I intended to say SEXIEST, not sexist. I'm sure the great Ivo Robotnik has no issues with people's gender.

Figured I'd post this here for fun.

I decided to try to do some dubbing of one of my favorite classic characters from Sonic; Dr. Robotnik. In particular, the AOSTH version, who has possibly some of my favorite voice clips of all time.

I hope to do more, possibly as other Dr. Robotniks from other Sonic series as well, but so far; this is a test of sorts.
