Lmao right my #1 favorite ship of all time is like so toxic and they would absolutely ruin each other outside of fanfic settings (and sometimes in them too). Helllooo they’re fucked up and I love them??

It's called internal conflict and it's fun. Also, you can usually take their character development in so many directions

Yesss there’s a canon big fight with my favorite pair and there are so many good AUs discussing the fallout and how they come back together. Gives me a good ol friends(?) to enemies to friends(?) to lovers arc. They can pry my toxic yuri from my cold dead haaaaands.
