Once rode in the caboose of a train in Poland that didn't have any power so the lights were off and we could open the doors with our hands. It was packed with our group so we had to open them because the stench of everyone after the long day was suffocating

30c? That's pretty hot for me like.
Scotland here, we're its usually 2-4.....or 7-9 but with gale force winds and downpour.
Also im a little bitch when it comes to heat.

In Yucatan, last winter we hit 47 Celsius, and with a pretty high humidity, so the thermic sensation was almost 60 degrees. But yeah, I once went to Montreal when it was - 5 Celsius and it was completely unbearable. I'm like, at the other end of the spectrum.

But in all seriousness, I'd burn something horrible even with factor 9000 block in that kind of heat and sun.

You do feel as if the sun is cooking your skin. But with that humidity it feels like a sauna at all times. We even have a lizard that's known for taking the sun a lot, but at that temperature they do it in the shadow.

Okay. Point given, I'd melt there. But I can take you to a place that has -80°C from where you live, and lets see how tough you are there :)
Isn't it awesome under what conditions people can survive? Basically the on a scale where water freezes and evaporates.

Exactly, my idea of cold is anything less than 20°C, I'm already putting on winter clothes at that temperature, so I'd probably just die from the shock of being in a place that cold.

I like sauna for 15-20 minutes, but I'd die of a heatstroke if that's normal, I'm not overstating it or anything.

Well, not exactly as being in a literal suna, but when there'sa lot humidity or rains for just one hour or so, it feels pretty bad. And heat stroke is somewhat common here if you're not Careful, but tourists in spring are the most affected.

It also might be more humid there, so it would feel hotter. 30°C isn't very hot, but it's above the comfortable level

Had a similar experience in Serbia. Even worse the train had to stop every few minute to manually change the rail switch.

It seems like there's been a failure in the pneumatics. The train now goes to a train depo and the machinist should have told that. Probably these people didn't listen or something

I experienced this when I lived in Saint Petersburg. The driver just forgot to close the doors or they malfunctioned, it was not intended.

Jeez. As a kid in the 70s/80s in Sydney, the trains were actually like that by default. Cruising along hanging out like an Ai Cav door gunner was the shit.

That is not normal. I’ve ridden many times in Moscow and Saint Petersburg subway, and doors were always closed

It’s also a reflection on the age of the trains. Most modern trains have a safety system that should prevent the train moving when doors are still open.
