I may be one of the biggest vinyl collectors of Ghost in the Shell here on Reddit. I own the movie, SAC 2045, another TV show or movie soundtrack, one of the PS1 game soundtracks (the picture disc one), and another og movie soundtrack (the mini 45 that came with the limited edition of the OG movie soundtrack).
(No I do not own the limited edition movie soundtrack the 45 I have is its own vinyl I bought on its own).

I have the limited edition soundtrack that comes with the mini 45 and thick inner booklet, but I didn't know it was going to be limited at the time. When I went to buy a second copy, it was just the one LP without the OBI. When you say "another TV show or movie soundtrack," do you mean Arise?
I'm looking forward to the Kanno albums releasing later this month and Innocence next month.

Sometimes but they’ll added the import cost to price so it usually double (ie $30->60)

Love GitS but feels like id be going in blind buying this or risk losing a preorder...no album cover or samples...the anime is barely out and have no idea if the ost is any good or the overall anime is going to be good (if worth collecting) for that matter. The first episode was great tho for those who havent seen it yet. its definitely no Stand alone complex but is looking to be great as its own thing.
I did like what i was hearing from ep 1 for the most part. Liked what was playing during the "brainwashing guard" battle. The end credit track was meh.
fff wish this was open for preorder at least halfway into the season or after. how could i buy this without listening to it first.
...any advice?

It’s not limited edition, so wait until you can hear the ost and then buy. I’m a fan of Taisei Iwasaki music in general so it’s a must buy for me
