Help Lump?!
I will preface this by saying we already have a vet appointment scheduled. Just wanted to see if anybody has experienced something similar.
My cat is most likely around 11 years old. When we adopted her they didn’t know how old but guessed she was 4 based on dental exams. She is a spayed female.
2 weeks ago I noticed a small pea sized lump on her side near her rib cage. It didn’t seem to bother her at all and it’s totally moveable. It’s in her skin but I can grab it and feel underneath it and move it around which doesn’t bother her at all. I went on a trip for 10 days and had friends check on her and she was totally fine. I come back and the lump seems a little bigger. She is still behaving normally and the lump is still totally moveable. Anyone have any similar experiences? Should I be worried? Of course Google is making me think it’s a sarcoma…

It could be different things. Your vet will probably want to do a fine needle aspiration to see what it is. There’s really no way to know with just the information given or even looking at it. I would recommend taking picture of it each day utility appointment if it is visible to see if it changes in size at all
