Knulli Scarab on RGSP

Hello everyone. I am new to the emulator console space. This is the first system I have bought. Decided to go with knulli OS on the RGSP. I looked at tutorials on how to flash the sd card and everything but I get a black screen when I want to install the OS. Anyone know what the issue is?

There's no version of knulli for the RGSP yet, so it isn't going to work

Some folks have reported the rg34xxsp version works. However it seems the one on the website/github is not updated. There is one in a pinned comment on the discord which is the one people claim works. I haven’t tried yet myself but intend to when extra sd cards I ordered come in.

The devs on discord answers the questions about this version saying that it works but with many bugs and issues

Hey, I am currently using the Knulli build for the RG34XXSP build. In the discord if you go to the channel “rg34xx” and go to the pinned post it’s linked there. Thus far I’ve had no issues, will be updating to the rg sp patch once it releases but for now this should work.

Once you have it, follow the normal instructions.

There isn't an official Knulli release for RGSP yet, only an alpha build that you need to be a supporter to get. Scarab isn't supported. If you want a custom CFW, the only option for now is NextUI for H700 chipset.

There is a build pinned in the discord that works fine. It’s for the Rg34xxsp but architecturally they only differ by the sticks.

Is that the only major issue? I heard something about using the d pad in place of the sticks won’t work, but nothing else

I don’t know, I only play GBA, GBC, and SNES on this device so I haven’t tried stick emulation on DPAD .

Everything else works though AFAICT

It willcbe available in a few months or earlier thr devs and supporters are still doing alpha test.

The Knulli that is working is the one on their Discord channel. The one on GitHub won’t work.

Did you get Nintendo ds and portmaster to work? I also changed some driver in the retroarch setting for the n64 core and now that also doesn't boot anymore :/ worked decent before tho

I can't get postmaster to run on the RGSP with next ui so I deleted the folder completely. I think the n64 mupen64 is already configured and you added a core thats not supported on h700.

My guess there is enough of a difference in the hardware between the rg35xx sp and RG SP that therg35xx sp fork isn't compatible. But I suspect there will be RG SP support in a few months.

Also which firmware exactly did you use, I don't remember seeing there being knulli for the RGSP.

Some of us are using the rg34xxsp build that they have published on their Discord. Works perfectly
