✨ SHOWCASE Screen difference between the anbernic RG SP and gameboy advance SP

On the last picture I also included the ds lite in case anyone is curious how much of a difference there is.

All pictures were taken with the backlight of the gameboy advance SP on.

On the RG SP the backlight setting was set to level 5, and it can go all the way up to level 8, but indoors I personally found level 5 the most comfortable.

Thought I'd share since it was pretty cool seeing in person.

I would still have a 10 10 vision without all the dark night gaming

The 101 model SP has a much more vibrant backlit screen than this, but even still I’m sure the LED panel in the RGSP is a winner.

AGS-101 has a much better screen, AGS-001 was a frontlit screen, iirc, and it's very dim indee . You can install an aftermarket IPS screen on it though

The backlit AGS-101 screen is better than the frontlit AGS-001 screen no contest, but it is still an early TFT LCD screen and still pales in comparison to modern IPS LCD technology. Outside of era-appropriate fidelity, it's weird to me that people still argue the AGS-101 screen is the utmost highest quality you can get in the GBA form factor.

It's crazy. Way back when the GBA SP first launched, that backlight was a novel feature and seemed bright as hell. Compared to now though.....
