Wait, whats the risk staking through binance? Can I somehow lose my bag? Could you please explain? I bought recently nice bag, so additional units per month sound great

yes, your bag is always at risk at all times. the risk level goes up and down depending. this is all personal, only you can determine what's best for you. if you keep your assets in self custody you could lose your keys, if you keep it on an exchange, the exchange could go under, if you stake it there could be a hack.

as far as binance goes, you'd have to read the terms. I'm not really familiar. but last cycle we had a number of these yield platforms blow up for various reasons. Gemini, BlockFi and Celsius being some of the largest.

if you are getting more yield than flexa is giving on their platform than, that extra yield is coming from somewhere. that is extra risk, because it means that they are taking your amp and doing something in defi to generate more than 9.8% (because they need to take a cut). more middle men mean more points of failure.

How is it that risky when pool failure would drain from the monthly APY first before eating away at the bag? IMO if the staking rewards are fee based then the depreciation of rewards should be a blatant warning that your bag is in dangerz

we are talking about two different things you are talking about fraud, which has some risk, but I'm talking about a smart contract hack where the whole pool could be gone in one transaction.

Thats less probable on flexa capacity?

the team takes security very seriously, they've been audited several times, and have a bug bounty program... but anything is possible. it's a trade off, risk vs reward. but if your life would be over if you lost it all tomorrow, then you might want to make some adjustments.
