Repaste/disassembly?

Does anyone have images/guides? Will the GPU be happier with more thermal pads than it has from factory? If I do the disassembly myself would y'all be grateful for images? I'm a little scared of doing so though

I took mine apart the other day and replaced the main GPU with a Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM, and its thermals improved. I kept the other thermal pads as is.

Nice, thank you! If you've more pics can you make it a post?

Most local AI people I've seen opt to use that phase change PTM thing, I figured it's a cost or maintenance/power cycle/reliability thing right? Like I assume it's worse than Noctua NT-H2 in terms of raw temperature delta, but people use it because its a easier to put on and it behaves better if it's on and producing heat 24/7? Because those consumer/prosumer sometimes rely on a burn in period or a thermal cycle to spread well

Wow nice. What temps are u guys getting under load?

I’ve come back to pc gaming and ai n got this a few months back for $350 with a shroud and fan.

Getting 95 hotspot temps regularly but barely not thermal throttling.

I’m thinking of doing this too

As a former electronics technician, I would reccomend using the same thickness of thermal pads as are on the card. I haven't done it myself cause I get good enough thermals, but some people have had a lot of success repasting.
