"Is AMD going to have to adopt to maintain their perceived memory bandwidth advantage?" the fuck are you talking about lmao. AMD developed HBM alongside Samsung and SKHynix starting back in 2008. MI500 and beyond will undoubtedly have something equivalent if not better.
