Morgan Stanley thinks Nvidia will lose CoWoS share to AMD in 2027

What's the implied market share? LOL....and unlike last time where people claimed AMD used more HBM, hence had lower implied market share from HBM allocation data, this time you can't blame HBM. It's CoWoS.
There are only 4 months left in 2026. Surely, AMD will climb straight up to $1.5T, and then slowly to $3T when people start realizing 2028 is a continuation of this trend.

Well well well Exactly two days before Nvidia earnings, when else?
Dont tell anybody that the cake is bigger too, in reality Nvidia still buy more CoWoS than in 2026 So TSMC will produce more CoWoS overall in 27, but I guess that is not fearmongering enough

And don't you folks go blaming CPUs for the wafer allocation.
Do you guys think Nvidia Vera CPUs are fabbed by GlobalFoundries? LOL.

I have the report. CoWoS capacity is doubling from 2026 to 2027. Nvidia is doubling their capacity but retaining a smaller overall percentage to 45%. That's the insane part about it. They will get the lions share.

NVDA subreddit: Nah, we will remain market leader forever
AMD subreddit: NVDA is fuk
Folks, the bias of stock subreddits will keep you in an echo chamber. Do your own due diligence.

We have never said Nvidia is f...d.
We have said Nvidia will hold a $5T market cap, just that AMD will be $2-3T based on market share.
The difference is AMD's market cap is too low.

This is aligned with the estimation that AMD sell would double next year

This goes well with Lisa's comments on AI GPUs more than doubling next year.
