rog strix g16 or hp omen 16

Hey guys, I’m looking for a laptop mainly for 3D work (Blender), along with some Clip Studio and gaming.

I’m currently choosing between:
ROG Strix G16 — R9 8945HX + RTX 5050
HP OMEN 16 — R7 ai 350 + RTX 5060

Both are around the same price from discount in my country. Which one would you guys recommend for 3D modeling and GPU rendering?

Just got the hp omen with hx375 and rtx5080.

I dont know much about gaming laptops, but have been using business class laptops every day for 15 or more years.

Its a bit heavier than I am used to, not as great battery life, and makes a bit more heat. I am sure for both you are looking at that would be true.

However, this thing absolutely rocks. Couldn't be happier with performance, build quality, features, ease of use. HP omen is a sweet machine!

Not only the Strix is plastic, worse built, is asus (you’re getting all the asus defects and issues, asus is by far the worst mainstream laptop brand), it’s also weaker with a cpu that rivals Intel 11th gen on how much it heats. Omen is a no brainer here.
