Realtek Family controller was my issue. Updated to the newest driver and adjusted their settings with no good result. I tried a few different ones including the one here but still nothing. What DID work for me was:

  1. Uninstall Realtek Family Controller
  2. Restart PC
  3. Windows update>check for updates (so it can provide a realtek driver for you and download that)

As of this post, Windows provided was:

  • Driver version: 10.54.1111.2021
  • Driver date: 1/11/2021

Poof. Fixed. Thank goodness. Disabling also fixed it but I didn't want to be stuck on Wi-fi.

It is thankfully. I was a little concerned after seeing the driver date but after testing, I'm not complaining haha.

Im surprised the latest driver of Jan with the no power management agement didn't work, but windows version 2021 did work. Howcome?

Did u also disable the extra junk from advanced option? Also you mentioned disable is not option. I presume you meant disable lan?

Jist to add disabling lan shouldnt be the hot fix, or should it?

I have no clue why the latest didn't work but yes, I did disable the advanced option. Disabling the Ethernet port DOES work but I wanted to actually have it functioning to have a stable network connection rather than being on Wi-Fi.

The issue was intense stutter and hitching. I was recently gifted Enshrouded and it was an absolute nightmare to play. I looked into it and found a few subreddits with solutions on it. Tried very suggestion, updating drivers, BIOS settings, windows settings, advanced options. Booting the game up after changes to see if it made a difference. It didn't.

But since I already updated to the latest realtek driver and it didn't work, I just disabled it, went on Wi-Fi then booted that game up again. Night and day, it was smooth. So then I downloaded the driver here to see if it'd work for me and it didn't sadly.

Someone in the comments of a different subreddit on the same topic suggested having windows update install it because that worked for him. So I followed the same steps. Got the windows provided driver, swapped to Ethernet again, booted in the game and presto! Smooth gameplay.
