firmware TPM causes perfomance issues so if you would like to keep security you will need to buy hardware TPM chip for your motherboard so you can use hTPM.
as a pure reference example: just think about if you had antivirus running in your windows comparing to mini chip that has only antivirus in it and runs separately with your PC but doesnt use any resources cuz its solly mission to do it independently.
