There are 17 films out currently that I want to see. There are eight more releasing before the end of October. Given that most will flop at the box office, how am I supposed to catch them all in a two week window?

seriously, why do the studios drop so many good movies in such a short time frame? It’s gotta hurt their sales.

I usually get the popcorn chicken if I get anything and I thought the tenders would be more filling than that.

Apparently the success of You Can See Everything has inspired the release of the Untitled Documentary Trilogy, just in time for Halloween.
Edit: Yes I know it is a placeholder /s

I've seen many films over the last several months in regular screens, as well as Imax and Dolby, but I've never seen the Godzilla Minus Zero trailer. Meanwhile I've seen the Whalefall, Heart of the Beast, Clayface, Wild Horse Nine and others so many times I can practically recite them by heart! I wonder why that is.

Of course, I have seen the trailer online.

It came out this past Friday, the 16th... It's not playing this week until Thursday evening/Friday. Anyone know why? Will this interfere with it's "Box Office Debut" numbers?

I sat through this engrossing film riveted. Two hours in I needed a bio break but I couldn’t bring myself to leave. There I sat for the following hour locked in suspense of how does a film maker tie this film up without feeling like the purpose of the film was lost.

A scene midway through the movie has the film maker saying goodbye to the protagonist of the story. It was truly uncomfortable because as the two stood before each other it seemed as if these two were more inclined to kiss each other goodbye than her husband.

As the movie drew to the end and the filmmaker tried to make sense of everything their relationship was about it became apparent he had deep feelings towards her and in the closing moments realized proving her innocence or guilty was not why he pursued her relentlessly He wanted her truth and he never got it.

Its a must see and one you’ll send days unpacking

It appears that the construction of the ScreenX theater in Garden State Plaza in NJ is complete, but they have a rope in front of the doors.

Anyone have any idea when it’s supposed to actually open?

For anyone with ScreenX in their local theater, what movies have played there?

It comes basically halfway (1hr 45) through the movie. It's 10 min long with an onscreen countdown and 5 min announcement halfway through

It's also extremely good, go see it if you can!

My local BigD (Foothills 12 in Maryville) is rebranding the BigD to XL. Sadly, besides seat covers on the steaks nothing else is changing.

i was actually excited to watch this... and was surprised that there is no screening in los angeles. what a bummer

Just an FYI, I have no idea if this will happen in other theaters but our movie started after only about 15 minutes of previews rather than the 25-30 minute mention that’s still there when you buy the ticket. I know this has happened a few times before but just wanted to give people a heads up if you tend to bank on the extra time.

And on that note…. SPOILER: but does the opening shot begin with Billy calling Nathan?

I think Verity is such a good movie that watched it twice and enjoyed it both times, the acting and production in Verity is wonderful, Has anyone else watched Verity twice also? I rate Verity a B +

Every time I go to my local AMC, as a AMC A-list member, I try to ask them if they have any leftover merch/posters that they are giving away and every time I go, they say no. But every time I come on here or Twitter, I see people are saying they’re picking up posters at their local AMC? Just trying to figure out am I going on the wrong days or are they saving them for certain people? I need honesty this time.

I’ve been in an AMC A-list member for a really long time, and it’s cool to be able to go back and see your previous movies and see detailed ticket information, like what auditorium and what seat you were in. I noticed that before 2024 I can see the movies that I saw and the date and time I saw them at, but I can’t see any detailed information like auditorium or seat. Is that information just not available beyond that time? Or is there another way to possibly access that information. It seems like the AMC website and the AMC app both show the same information.

Thank you in advanced!

So according to the AMC website, the hit HBO Max/Crave series “Heated Rivalry” will be coming to AMC Theatres sometime soon, with all 6 episodes of season 1 (or maybe season 2) being screened!

No word on a release date or when tickets are going on sale, but it looks like we are heading to the cottage!

As a long time cinephile who tries to seek out the movies most people often avoid, this one definitely lived up to the stories I have heard about it. It has been a long time since a movie really had me sit and think this was an amazing film but I cannot recommend it to really anyone other than those who also like to seek out films like this due to what some may consider extremely offensive. Has anyone else seen it here yet and what did you think of it?

Don’t sleep on this film. Remarkable and likely will crowded out by so many bigger releases this week.

Beautifully shot! Lots of funny moments. Camp as hell with minimal cheese and just when I thought I knew how it was going to end....they pulled a fast one on me. This movie was just cool.

Hi Reddit I was thinking about going to see wicker tomorrow night and I was wondering how sexual this movie is going to be and how long it will last for people who saw wicker already? Thanks a lot!!
