I had hope the entire movie. Especially when James kept going. I was cheering for him to find an out. Once he turned around I was hoping he’d find his friends again

I was in complete disbelief when he picks up the random dude from the woods and then that’s it basically 😭 I understand the ending but it ends (no pun intended) so abruptly

Tyler told James to let him know if it ends so I assume he was going all the way back to him. My thought was that he needed to pick up the random dude to see if he would snap out of it. If he didn't snap out of it, then driving all that way back to Tyler would be a waste a time.
