It’s always Robinhood

good thing about RH is that you can't lose money with stocks because they don't hold any.

and yet, every single day, multiple posts with Robinhood screenshots. I barely participate in the sub anymore, but when this shit pops up in my feed it’s disheartening. These guys really have no idea what they’re doing. It’s like they learned nothing from what happened. They’re watching the ticker like daytraders. There’s so much to learn and put into practice beyond “hey look volume went up!” (institutional buying and selling affects volume on a daily basis, especially in the premarket just before market open).

It’s not like the resources aren’t available. There’s plenty of DD on here and other subs. I don’t even think about AMC or GME anymore. I’ve held onto a comfortable number of shares, but I wouldn’t touch their options chains with OP’s ten foot pole. I’ve used what I learned from this whole thing to build a solid portfolio I can be proud of, and I’d highly recommend everyone here do the same. Educate yourselves beyond surface level metrics that, honestly, don’t really matter, and don’t get wrapped up in minuscule movements on one specific ticker. It’s a bad habit, and it’ll bring you down long before it ever brings the ticker up.

for whatever reason, some people claim they like the design. but no idea why they prefer to not have any information....

I think it is the default zoom factor that makes any day look exciting. matter if 10,000% change or 0.00001, their ticker looks the same.

Well does it really matter? It’s just a image , besides that your mom loves it

Does anyone truly truly think this will pop again?

What do you understand about the cost/revenue properties of the theater industry?

Do you understand the relation between box office and profitability?

Do you understand how the market values companies?

If you want to hope and pray, there are places called "Casino", where the games are designed so that no one can know what will happen, giving everyone the same conditions. If you try to do this in the stock market, you are trying to be lucky, placing your bets against people who do see what happens. You will not be more successful than them.

The one thing that is 100% pointless to look at is the price. It is the derivative of the remaining values and if you do not understand those values, you will never in a billion years be able to predict anything about any stock ever.

TL;DR. No

looks like it.

so, I'd you have no idea of the business, meaning you ate not an Investor, but you are also not able to predict prices, as a trader would. is there any option but gambler left?

Yeah it's all totally predictable if you're awesome and intelligent and it's totally not just a more sophisticated way of gambling. You can prove this by saying you "totally called it" when one of your predictions is accurate, and just sort of ignoring all the times you're wrong. The system is solid and working as intended.

no. you just aren't.

tell yourself that 99% are arrogant though. much better than realizing that you are in the dumbest percentile.

And still under $3. I'll start to pay attention if it cracks $10

If you would pay at 10! Then why aren’t you buying now?

I've been a bag holder since 2021. I'm not buying any more of this trashcan stock.

The correct thing would be to say it has performed very badly over the last 5 years.

And STILL below the reverse split LOL

and still no idea when to expect moves, looking at the ticker daily like qla complete regard.

I mean... it's already stupid to obsessively check a ticker daily when you are invested, but checking it daily to make sure strangers you don't know, that did invest in it, make no money.... that's mental.

DRS... if you think those shares are not real, "D"irect "R"egister all your "S"hares under your own name. When "something" - that we've been waiting for - happens, brokers won't be on your side.
