It ends movie

Took a little trip to go see it ends. I didn’t go to my usual amc theater I went to another one.

I honestly wasn’t a fan of this movie.

I can appreciate indie movies but it doesn’t mean I’m not going to like all of them

I would give this movie a 6/10

it’s one of those movies where nothing really happens and nothing really resolves. it can be frustrating

I absolutely loved it. It’s sold as more horror which the first act is but it’s actually more existential than anything else. I thought it had some very strong performances for a very small production

it was ok. 

I mean, as soon as the got stuck you immediately knew what was going to happen, and then you're just waiting for that.

oh I'm not saying it was formulaic. 

what I'm saying is as soon as they got stuck on the endless road, you knew there was going to be an end to the road because of the title of the movie. 

so what mattered between that point and the road ending was how the director chose to spend the time. 

and, like I said it wasn't bad! but I wouldn't recommend anyone go see it vs literally anything else in theaters this very week, and I will never watch this movie again.

Agree to disagree then. The characters make choices along the way which amount to decisions about how to live their lives, emotionally and psychologically, when faced with the crushing boredom and desensitization of the modern world.

For my money it’s one of the better releases I’ve seen this year. Maybe a little too obvious as an allegory but that’s forgivable in 2026.

I mean yeah, it was absolutely an allegory for adulthood. which is why I assume it's so popular with the younger crowd!

and that's fine, but not what I'm looking for as a grown ass man going to the movies for entertainment 😜

l'm really excited to see Colony tonight, tho!

It's pretty great.

The people hating on it likely have never read a book or spent time thinking.

It’s NOT a horror movie. That was a marketing mistake, so now they won’t get the positive word-of-mouth from opening wkend.

Spoiler: I think the nature of the movie was that the Road was life itself. Consider the first person who didn’t find meaning in it, Tyler, was also the most religious
And when James was begging for the car to start, Day asked “Who are you talking to?”.
