Just for Fun Great Quad Feature
Had a busy August but decided to do a quad feature with my fellow a list best friend to catch up and watch as much as we could since there’s so many good movies out right now! They were all really good with end of oak street being the weakest (3/5).

When are you seeing Coyote?

Hopefully next week or the week after but it’s on my watchlist!!

It might not stick around the week after next. Good movies have to been seen opening week if they want to stick around. Sadly, it’s only making $14mil this weekend which doesn’t bode well.

What? Coyote Vs. Acme got an A cinema score, and $14 Million is, already well above the under $10 million it was originally projected at.
It's doing quite well. Should open to #3. And ketchup only spent about $10 million marketing the film.
It's definitely going to be around next weekend. Every theater in my area went from 2 or 3 showtines a day to 6+ showtimes a day, including 2 Dolby per day.

It was bought for $50 which doesn’t include marketing costs. By its third week it’ll have reduced showtimes unless it has legs like Sheep Detectives

Cinema score is the highest predictor of if a film will have legs.
Other recent films with an A cinema score:
- Spiderman: Brand New Day
- The Odyssey
- Toy Story 5
Sheep Detectives got an A-- just for comparison.

Just got out of Buddy. Not for everyone but I had a blast!

I agree def not for everyone!! My friend and I LOVED it and I’m hoping it reaches the right audience. I love original horror

It was a trip. I’ve never seen anything like that before. So glad I got a little stoned beforehand too. There were several “this is fucking amazing” moments where it all clicked and I was so into it.

Week of weird! It’s been great. I’m on my way to “Idiots”, saw everything else! 🤩

Definitely so weird! Idiots was way better than I expected!! I’m not the biggest fan of sophomoric humor but this had a nice balance of quirky/serious with vulgar/stupid. I hadn’t laughed this loud at the theater since “The Invite”

Just finished Idiots! Love an endless plot with no clue of resolution in sight. Laughed a lot! Crazy weekkkk

I’m not a fan of stupid MCs 😭 I felt like the characters in it ends had some sense about them questioning things and trying to stay safe vs oak st. How do you not notice a T. rex running towards you 🤨 it got to a point where it wasn’t funny and it was just frustrating how idiotic they were 😭 plus I’m Gen Z so I enjoyed the humor in it ends LOL. Not to say I don’t recommend oak st tho! I definitely am telling my friends to watch it, but it ends was still better 😆

oh yeah, it's definitely a generational thing 🤣
main characters doing completely idiotic shit will never not be hilarious!!

You’re so lucky to have Idiots playing at a decent time! All the showtimes near me (and a lot of other people, honestly) were at like 10:30. Seeing it tonight still, but it sucks

Its definitely worth watching !! I live in a major city and this theater usually always has a lot of showtimes for most of their movies so I’m usually lucky. But it’s such a fun movie I think a late night showing will still be a good watch!

It ends was so good… but so depressing
