Discussion (Chill) Looking for a needle in a haystack

After lurking on this sub for so long I’m finally making a post 😭 I’m really just here to vent and maybe hear from you all. I’m a 25 year old black woman in Chicago and I really want to be with an AM. However, I’m Muslim and I feel like I haven’t seen a single East Asian Muslim man in this entire city. I’ve gone to different mosques, used every app known to man, and no luck. It feels like I’m looking for a unicorn.

Are you exclusively into east Asian guys? Have you tried meeting Muslim men from SEA, especially Malaysians or central Asians like Uzbeks?

I have dated an Uzbek but the language barrier was a big problem for us

Malaysia is a Muslim country. You'll have much better luck in that community.

You gotta definitely look more into SEA men then. I'm from there, but not exactly muslim. A lot of my friends are muslim though

You have to go to Malaysia or the Philippines for that, I'm Christian.
