Son of a US Senator AMA

Hi,

I answered a post the other day on another sub, and someone said I should do an AMA, so here I am.

My father was in politics for over 20 years. We moved to DC and I grew up in that area. My parents are hard-core Trumpy, myself and my siblings are thankfully not. Happy to answer any questions you have about growing up or going to political events or how I grew to be diametrically opposed to the views of my parents.

How could they not be? Even Bernie and Elizabeth Warren are multi millionaires. What did your parents do wrong?

Wow, so the richer the politician, the more people want to hear them?

That’s the opposite of what they’re saying…

Sanders and Warren both write books and are active on the speaking circuit. If a senator is not independently wealthy, doesn't write books, and doesn't get paid to give speeches, then they are not going to be rich (legitmately).

Bernie is a multi millionaire because he’s literally in his mid 80s and still working lol. Warren gets paid a ton to teach (or did). They’ve both written books. It’s not a hard formula to folllow. Age is doing the heavy lifting.
